Socks and my Marines

I have been on such a sock kick lately! =) I have knit a pair in Plymouth's Colorspun DK (for me) and a pair of baby socks for one of the two grandchildren we have due this winter. I have another pair on my needles now, this one in a scrumptious Cashmerino in a mouth-watering shade of hot cocoa! =)
Jessica graduated from bootcamp yesterday, with a meritorious promotion! Instead of being a Private she is a PFC, pretty awesome! I honestly expected nothing less from her, she does NOTHING 1/2 way! And to stand there during the cermony next to my son who was in his dress blues.............. Is it possible for a Mom to be any more proud?? So, Jessica is home for 10 days ~ which will pass by WAY TOO quickly!!!!
